One K

The only thing that's sat on my head for the last five years is a Charles Owen.  My One K just got here, and I'm finding myself wholly incapable of judging whether it looks good or not.  Help?  I don't want my mom laughing at me and calling me Marvin the Martian for the next five years! Honest comments appreciated, I got it from SmartPak for a reason - so I can return it if I don't like it!  It does fit, so no issues there.

Ignore the window Tucker partially destroyed behind me...

Does anyone else own a One K?  What are you supposed to do if your properly adjusted helmet's excess chin strap goes past the velcro?  (See the strap right at the top of the holes in the white laundry basket?)

  1. Idk I feel like it looks pretty good, but need to see you like on a horse cause everyone loos kinda goofy in a helmet in a house ;)

  2. It doesn't look bad, but what Kitty said - definitely need to see you in action with it.

  3. Agree also with Kitty Kat - would be good to see you all decked out in your riding gear on Connor to make a good judgement.

  4. My better half just got a One K (he tried on everything, it fit and looked the best). I think they are really nice helmets and im betting they will be very popular very soon. Yours looks good to me!

  5. I love one k's, I'm a die hard CO fan, but I'm leaning towards one k for my next helmet, they are beautiful. You look great in it!

  6. OK I'm going to be honest here because asked me to be and because I would want an honest answer. From the side I love it. The front view on the other hand it looks a liitle like a bucket strapped to your head. You know with the metal handle around your chin. I'm not sure if it is just this helmet or not, not having seen you in your CO as a comparison or if maybe it is just how helmets fit you. They aren't the most attractive accessories either way. It just seems like the straps are so far from the side of you head. Just my thoughts.

    1. LOVE the honesty! That's something to consider. I had also messed with the chinstrap (made it bigger) to minimize the awkward extra velcro before taking this picture. There's no keeper for the excess. I'll tighten it up and take another picture.

  7. I also recently got the OneK and I like the look (and think it looks good on you!) but did have a question - did you find the chin strap to sit funny? Mine always feels like it is poking out closer to my chin, much further than my IRH did. I'm not sure if this is just how it is meant to sit? Or if it doesn't fit me right? Otherwise I really like it so far!

    1. Yes, it does stick out pretty far forward. I think you can see it in the picture. It weirds me out if I think about it, but I didn't notice it in my ride, so I guess it's okay.
