Surprise Bay Area Trip

Yo (northern) California people.  My work decided TODAY to send me to Palo Alto Sunday through Friday of next week.  Surprise!

I am booked pretty solid during the day, but have some free evenings, so let me know if you are interested in accompanying me through some tack stores or to some of those unreasonably delicious and somewhat shady looking California taco places that look like they're in a race to the top of the health code violations list.  Mmmmmm.

Also, expect very little blogging next week for reasons that should now be obvious.  I do hope to blog about this weekend's show, maybe from a plane.  Wish me luck.

  1. That's a fun trip. I live about 10 minutes from Palo Alto (or forever if there's traffic). I don't do Taco's, but I can take you on a ride to a winery.

  2. You should come out tomorrow so we could force you to volunteer at Nicole's horse show lol

  3. Oooh, yes!! Tacos and a Haflinger ride if you're up for an hour's drive south on Tuesday or Thursday (or Sunday, of course).

    1. Should have clarified: I work about twenty minutes away and can happily chauffeur, it's just the ponies that are (sort of) far.

    2. Ahhh I have totally not been ignoring you, this is the first time I've been in the hotel room before 11pm all week. It would be so awesome to meet you, but my open spaces have all filled up unless you've got time to grab breakfast Friday morning. But this is probably not my last work trip out here, so next time would work too.

  4. YAY!! Yes I vote coming out tomorrow to help at the horse show too. I'm around all week since I teach in the area and we're prepping for the Woodside dressage show, which you should come to if you're still in the area on Friday/Saturday next week, it's a lot of fun!
