It's a trick I picked up at a show jumping barn - pour hot water on a towel, wring it out, and lay it over the neck while you groom. Then you take a stiff brush to all the warm mane and since the skin & pores are soft you sort of pull it down on the correct side.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01092098198949213494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8846330497859393721.post-11252348908818931862015-01-21T16:59:32.878-05:002015-01-21T16:59:32.878-05:00I'd like to witness the happy expression on hi...I'd like to witness the happy expression on his face while he got that muddy!SheMovedtoTexashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01062200290148658096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8846330497859393721.post-86149460276921765182015-01-21T14:39:52.019-05:002015-01-21T14:39:52.019-05:00Yep, he is nothing if not thorough.Yep, he is nothing if not thorough.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04292565760924146966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8846330497859393721.post-68884815951904279762015-01-21T14:36:44.161-05:002015-01-21T14:36:44.161-05:00haha he never misses a spot with the mud, does he?...haha he never misses a spot with the mud, does he?? lolemmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8846330497859393721.post-35427589081075662922015-01-21T14:28:19.144-05:002015-01-21T14:28:19.144-05:00It's so selfish, but I love it when they'r...It's so selfish, but I love it when they're blanketed and they stay clean! Note to self - mane length that works on Thoroughbreds does not on Cobs. Though I think Emi's mane is a lot thicker than Connor's. His neck looks so much better when his mane isn't on both sides. My trainer is probably dying on the inside though.
