Off the Bench! And Fall Photos

Do you know what this is?
Yes that is Huckleberry Bey and Scat Cat in the background, for all you Breyer fans out there.

This is a celebratory glass of $9/bottle wine, because my husband accepted a job offer today!  I am elated that we made it through five months of his unemployment and we managed to keep Connor at the Farm and, you know, still pay the mortgage and stuff.  And, you know what that means:  GAME ON!  I'm trying to get into a clinic we're hosting on Monday if there are spots available.  I did say that the second he got a job I was off the bench, and I wasn't kidding!

Fall at the barn!

Fall at work!

More fall at the barn!

Fog at the barn!

Fall at the barn!  (And the grand haircut reveal coming later this week...)

  3. Congrats!! That is awesome news! That must be a huge relief. I am struggling over here since my husband was laid off in August and unemployment is giving him a hard time about collecting. It's a struggle.
The barn looks gorgeous at fall!

    1. I am so sorry to hear that, it's so hard. Nick wasn't eligible for unemployment, so he made it work with a part time job. It's just so stressful, looking at every dollar you spend and thinking "Is this necessary for survival?" Hang in there, I'm thinking about you guys.

I love those really bright orange trees. We have them at work and makes coming so much better this time of year.
I am hoping I feel better this weekend because my guys are desperate for trace clips. Glad you got Connor's done.

    1. Yeah those trees were gorgeous, unfortunately they shed EVERY SINGLE LEAF in a storm the next day. Sad. Get going on those trace clips, it is such a relief to have that chore done!
