Outside

Guysguysguys!  The ground was DRY and NOT COVERED IN SNOW for the first time in literally months!  Guess what we did after I finished chores?

We practiced our leg yields on a trail ride!  Walk-only, because I did my judged 14.1 workout last night, and my back is tight.

"I believe something to the right is going to eat me."

While I was at the barn, I texted my husband to ask how his morning was going and he was like "Oh, good, made low carb pancakes, read my book, gave Bitsy eyebrows" and I just sort of ignored that third one, but when I came home I was greeted with this:

Don't judge the dog hair, we are deep into Husky shedding season and that's about six hours worth of hair.

Yeah.  He gave her eyebrows.  I really don't know what I expected.  And then he took her to Petco to buy dog food, where the people working the puppy adoption event commented on her strange facial markings.  He just let them believe she was born that way!

    1. Oh, that's about to end in a few hours. We're supposed to get 0.1-0.25" of ice and on top of that 3-5 inches of snow. March, ha!

    1. Thanks! Connor is too, I will never complain about having an indoor, but he does get a little burnt out in it. Even in the outdoor, I think he feels like he's getting somewhere/the work is worth it.

    1. Yes! Winter blanket hoods are magical things that I had not considered before in my mane taming adventures.

  14. LOL. Next time you go to Petco, you should draw on eyebrows in a different style, like Frida Kahlo or really surprised eyebrows and see if they notice the difference.

    1. My husband laughed so hard at this comment. I had to google Frida Kahlo, but after googling, I completely approve. He'd use a whole stick of eyeliner for that one!
