Cob Jockey Featured in Ammy Hour
I have long been a fan of the Sprinkler Bandits blog, and I was honored when Aimee asked me to be a part of her Ammy Hour series. She posted the article today, and you should go check it out if you haven't already seen it! (Link below.) While I enjoy my one day a week of taking care of the barn, I am always happy to get back to my IT job on Monday morning, and that's why I can truly say I love being an adult amateur. Best of both worlds.

I'm so glad SprinklerBandits featured you in Ammy Hour! I'm a daily reader of her blog, and when I read about you and Connor, I realized that I never even thought about considering a Welsh Cob as my next horse, especially because they don't get super tall (I'm only 5'2") and it looks like they could make great jumpers! Connor is really cute and I'm definitely on the look-out for any Welsh Cobs in my area :)
Hey there, nice to meet you! They are awesome, and definitely make great jumpers - Connor's got a ton of scope for a little guy. His breeder ships nationally if you are ever in the market. :-)

The cob\wb crosses that Conners breeder has are super classy also if you are looking for a little more height. I have conners half brother that is a cob\wb cross and he is the best

Definitely. Love what you have, right? It gets overlooked so often, I think, that it's a luxury to have it as a hobby instead of a career.
I am :) They are very popular and good, hardy, able types who can turn their hoof to anything and still manage through the winter. What's not to like?! :)
