Tale of My Sunday Chores, 12/22/13

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

Five inches of rain...

Four muddy feet...

Three detours...

Sorry for this bridge's offensive language.  Sort of.

Two horses that decided to roll in two feet of floodwater while wearing blankets in 40 degree weather!...

And a partridge dead bird in a pear tree stall door...

He got slammed in the door track and was stuck in there upside down.  Forgot to take a picture.  It was the end of a very long day.

YIKES, especially the bridge picture. The flooding, not the language. The language is appropriate to the flooding!

*facepalm* at the horses rolling. Man...that's no fun when there's that much water on the way to and around the barn!

Indeed! You couldn't even get to the interstate in my town for a while yesterday.

It was not fun, but it's life with horses sometimes!

It is. It was okay. Keeps things interesting, right?

I am so glad you commented! I had just removed your old blog from my RSS list a few weeks ago thinking you'd decided to stop blogging. I missed hearing from my fellow Crossfitter/equestrian. Glad to hear things are good with you and the girls!
