Life Update!

This is probably the most inactive blogger I've ever been.  But with good reason!

Horse is still alive and well:

My mother-in-law is buying our really-nice-but-likely-hard-to-sell two bedroom ranch that's 4 houses down from a top elementary school.  So that's helpful, and it means we went house hunting this week, fell massively in love with a historic 1890 fixer upper a few blocks from my work and CrossFit gym, and are currently waiting to hear what they thought of our offer.  So...I can't think about anything else right now.

I am trying so hard not to count my chickens in case we don't get it, but I'll give you these two teasers:

Door hinges!  Seriously!

My parents and I used to prowl around old abandoned houses all the time, love the hidden treasures!

I'd be sold on those door hinges alone!
